Frequently asked questions
Answers about billing, strategic NCLEX-style practice, study plans, and getting started. For account data requests, signed-in learners can use Privacy & data in Settings.
Subscription & billing
What plans do you offer?
We offer three subscription options: $30 per month, $70 per quarter (every 3 months), and $140 for six months. All plans include the full NCLEX-RN course — there is no separate annual plan and no free trial.
How do I subscribe?
Create an account, pick monthly, quarterly, or six-month access, accept the terms, and complete secure checkout with Stripe. Your subscription renews each billing period until you cancel. After payment you can open your dashboard and start the structured learning pathway immediately.
Can I pay with a local card from my country?
Yes. We use Stripe Checkout, which supports international debit and credit cards when your country’s networks are enabled. Enter your billing address at checkout so Stripe can offer the right local card options. If your bank blocks online payments, contact them to authorize charges to our platform or try another card.
Can I use a promo or influencer code?
Yes. Enter your promo code on the Pricing page or at Stripe Checkout. Valid codes apply a discount before you are charged. Institutional invite codes from your school may also unlock access without repeating full checkout.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Open Plans & pricing while signed in and choose Manage billing (or use Billing in the top menu). Stripe’s billing portal lets you update your card, switch plans, or cancel. Plan changes take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access through the time you have already paid for. To stop future renewals, cancel in the portal — access continues until the period ends and you will not be charged again.
The NCLEX course
Why RNMindsetPrep vs memorization apps?
Flashcard-heavy apps reward recall volume. RNMindsetPrep is a cognitive accelerator: each topic teaches core nursing science, then trains pitfall defense — how exam-writers hide distractors in plausible options. You get strategist lessons, cheat sheets with trap callouts, applied practice, CAT mocks, and a dashboard that maps mistakes to logic gaps — not just facts you missed.
How is the course structured?
You follow one structured pathway through every section and topic: watch the lesson, complete applied practice with pitfall framing, pass the topic quiz, then move on. Section checkpoints and mock CAT exams are built into the path so you build strategic readiness in the right order.
What are study guides (cheat sheets)?
Each topic includes a high-yield study guide with tables, mnemonics, and NCLEX trap callouts — designed for quick review before quizzes and mocks. Open Cheat Sheets from your dashboard to browse by section.
What NGN question types will I see?
You will practice Next Generation NCLEX formats including bow-tie clinical judgment, matrix grids, select-all-that-apply, drag-and-drop sequencing, highlight-text, hot-spot, and numeric entry — often inside case-study tabs with nurses’ notes, vitals, and labs.
What is Continue Learning?
Continue Learning takes you back to exactly where you left off — the same topic, lesson, practice activity, or quiz — so you never lose your place in the pathway.
Study plans & retakes
How does the study plan work?
During onboarding you set your target exam date and weekly study hours. We generate a week-by-week schedule that maps every topic, section quiz, and mock exam through your exam date. Your dashboard shows daily goals that match that pace.
I am retaking the NCLEX — what is different for me?
Tell us you are a retaker during onboarding and select your weak areas. We build a compressed retake plan that prioritizes those systems, adds extra mock exams and mistake review, and skips full lesson replays on topics you have already mastered.
Can I regenerate my study plan?
Yes. On your Study Plan page or retake panel, use Regenerate to rebuild the schedule after you change your exam date, study hours, or focus areas in Settings.
Using the platform
Which devices and browsers work best?
Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari on a laptop, tablet, or phone. The student portal works on mobile and can be installed as an app on your home screen. Keep cookies enabled so your progress and sign-in stay saved.
Something looks wrong on a page — what should I try?
First, refresh the page. If a quiz or payment screen still misbehaves, sign out and sign back in, or try another browser. Disable ad blockers on our site if checkout or fonts fail to load. Still stuck? Email support with a screenshot and the page you were on.
Where can I learn how each feature works?
After you subscribe, open Help from your student menu for step-by-step guides to the learning pathway, Practice Center, mock exams, flashcards, and more.
